Our biggest win when it comes to partnering with Formstack was our ability to take 40 hours of admin work a week for a client and cut that down to basically zero and improving the process as a whole for the business. Tell us about yourself!
I'm Emily Hulstein. I am the VP of operations and digital enablement at Denamico. And what we do is really take customer-centric technology solutions and implement them for businesses to help them grow and to grow scalably, specifically HubSpot or a HubSpot partner agency.
Why did you choose to partner with Formstack?
In all honesty, there wasn't a great solution out there to go into and capture data, push it into a document, get e-signature, and send that back to both the signer and the person who sent the document. Formstack was a no-brainer for us when we saw the way that it could work together with HubSpot.
What was onboarding like with the partner team?
The onboarding with Formstack has been great. We've had a lot of different people that we can reach out to and work with who are there to support us. They're fast to respond. They're always on top of our questions. If we do have any issues, it's easy for us to submit tickets and to flag those issues but also have people to reach out to escalate those as well, which I think is one of the benefits of being a Formstack partner.
They truly are involved in the process. They're not just stepping back and saying go figure it out. They've got a number of resources that we could utilize. Their team was super helpful.
How have you reimagined work using Formstack?
The use case that we built out was essentially taking a form submission, taking that data, and routing it to fill a document that could be filled repeatedly by different people and different submissions over time. So we didn't have to recreate documents every single time. And for our client that we were working with, that was invaluable. They were spending about 40 hours a week just on admin time building out these documents week over week.
By automating this with Formstack, we were able to save the client something like 1,200 hours a year, which is a substantial amount of hours in administrative time and just gives time back to their business to focus on much higher level, higher value, more impactful things that were just maybe being missed or ignored because the time and capacity just wasn't there at their team.
What outcomes has Formstack helped you achieve?
Formstack has helped us to simplify the process of getting ideas out the door. The client that we build it out for was sending a number of those every single day. We are also able to simplify or cut down the time to getting that NDA out to the recipient who needed to sign. Let's say process of inquiring, getting the NDA, signing it, and having that route back in a matter of minutes instead of hours or days.
What advice would you give to someone looking to become “practically genius”?
Sometimes some of the processes that are taking your team the most time are the ones that they've been most closely tied to for a number of years. And people can hold on to those things because they feel like if they give that up, they're giving up a part of their job or losing impact or value to the business.
Reframing the opportunity to show them how automating a process can help actually free up time for them to do more impactful and higher value things can help get buy in from the team. That's going to be important to get buy in from to truly understand what you need to automate or how a process could be.
Why do you recommend Formstack to your clients?
Formstack gives us a way to bring that capability to capture data that is HIPAA compliant and secure and to still be able to use that data and automate different components of their processes and their business using the HubSpot platform. Another reason that we recommend Formstack to our clients is because of the intense solution that it provides being able to capture data, automate, and route smart-filled documents using that data to your team, to your clients and to really expedite that process and create more visibility throughout that process.
